FSSC 22000 is a globally recognized food safety (GFSI) certification. It combines the ISO 22000 standard with sector-specific requirements, ensuring a robust system to manage risks throughout the entire food supply chain, from production to consumption.

Organic certification for vegetables ensures they are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, or GMOs. It promotes farming practices that protect soil fertility and biodiversity, respecting natural cycles for sustainable and high-quality production.

FDA registration is mandatory for companies intending to export vegetables and fruits to the United States. It involves registering your production facility with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and appointing a "US Agent". This ensures compliance with American food safety regulations.

Sedex registration (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) is a collaborative platform enabling companies to share ethical and sustainability supply chain data. It's not a certification, but a tool to manage and improve labor practices, human rights, health and safety, and environmental impact.

Kosher certification ensures that vegetables have been handled and prepared according to Jewish dietary laws. This means they must be free of insects, not contaminated by non-Kosher products, and any additives or processing methods used must also be Kosher.

Halal certification signifies that vegetables have been produced and processed in accordance with Islamic law. This ensures the absence of prohibited contaminants (like alcohol or non-Halal animal derivatives) and that all processes, from cultivation to packaging, adhere to Islamic principles.

GACC registration (General Administration of Customs of China) is an essential requirement for exporting vegetables and fruits to China. It allows companies to register with Chinese customs authorities, ensuring compliance with their strict phytosanitary and food safety regulations for market access.
