During an open City Council meeting at Palazzo Rosso, the prestigious Gagliaudo d'Oro was awarded. It represents the city's official recognition of its most deserving citizens.
Alessandria turned 857 years old.
At Palazzo Rosso, the City Council gave its top award to Pietro Gemma.
The award thanks people who help the city.
