IDA s.r.l. wants everyone to use our website with ease.
This includes people who use screen readers, magnifiers, or other assistive tools.
We follow the WCAG 2.1 AA rules.
These are global rules that help make websites usable by all.
We test with:
WordPress Accessibility Checker
WAVE Tool
Google Lighthouse
manual keyboard and browser checks
We make the site easier by:
running checks with WAVE, Lighthouse, and Checker
using clear headings, ARIA landmarks, and labels
choosing colors with strong contrast
writing short and clear link text
adding aria-labels
when needed
We give special care to content:
For news and institutional pages (history, projects, certifications, sustainability), we add a short version of long texts.
These summaries follow readability tests (GULPEASE for Italian, Flesch–Kincaid for English).
Summaries can also be listened to with browser text-to-speech.
Other content is already clear, but we check it.
We keep working to add more short versions when needed.
Some warnings are not real problems:
Iubenda plugin → extra labels or titles from third-party code
Contact Form 7 → hidden fields or missing legends, not seen by users
Related news → title, button, and icon link to the same page (editorial choice)
Justified text → style choice
Underlined text → only used for links
PDF links → always marked “Download PDF” in text and ARIA labels
Alt text → sometimes the same as visible titles (e.g. logos), by choice
We plan to:
add more simplified texts
run checks often
update to WCAG 2.2
